Arriving at school on time is important; please see school start times below!

Kindergarten - Grade 6:         8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Grades 7-8:                                    8:00 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.

Students arriving at school between 7:45-7:55 will be permitted to enter the building and go to the cafeteria before going to their classrooms at 7:55.

Arrival Procedures (From the first day of school through Friday, September 11th):

• All grades should arrive by 8:00 AM.
• Grades K–4 will line up on the Plaza Behind their teacher's cone.
• Grades 5–8 will line up on Elm Street.

Homeroom teachers will meet their classes outside and walk students into the building.

Breakfast Information:

• Grades K–2 will have breakfast served in their classrooms.
• Grades 3–8 will receive Grab and-Go breakfast to take to their homerooms and enjoy during morning routines.

Beginning Monday September 14th, our morning routine will change to better support students and families:
Doors will open at 7:45 AM. Students may enter the building and go directly to their lockers. Breakfast routines will remain the same.

Dismissal Times:

• Grades K–6 will be dismissed at 2:30 PM.
• Grades 7–8 will be dismissed at 2:35 PM.

Students will be dismissed from the same doors they arrive at in the morning.

As part of our continued efforts to streamline communication and align practices across all K–8 schools in Malden, the Beebe School will no longer be mailing class assignment letters to families.

Beginning this year, student class assignments will be available in Aspen as soon as the platform is rolled over (usually mid August).

Families can access this information by logging into Aspen.

1. Click on Family top tab
2. Select the student by clicking on the checkbox
3. Then select any of the side tabs to see details for each of the categories. 

A. Details - will have student demographic information, student ID, homeroom and homeroom teacher.

B. Daily Attendance - Did the student go to school today? Were they tardy? If date is missing, that means they are present or weekend.

C. Transcript - Final grades.

D. Schedule - Student's schedule.

E. Assessments - Stores overall assessment scores, including MCAS.

Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for August 27 at 9:00 a.m. for Kindergarten students and their families. This will be an opportunity to meet teachers and learn more about what to expect for Kindergarten Screening and the year beyond.

Every student in Malden Public Schools is provided with a free breakfast and lunch on full school days - no paperwork needed. Breakfast is provided to students as they walk into the building or directly in their classroom. Each month, you may view the breakfast and lunch menus for our schools at the link below. Be sure to bookmark the page and check at the start of each monthe to view the new menu.

Update Contact Information

New email? Changed your phone number? Be sure to contact the office and provide new contact information to keep records up to date.

Check Caregiver Portal Access

The Aspen Caregiver Portal is how Malden provides family access to student performance information, report cards, and progress reports. Be sure you can access your account by following directions here. If you cannot access your account, be sure to contact your school.

Registration is now open for next year’s before and after school programming provided by AlphaBEST at Beebe, Forestdale, Linden, and Salemwood for incoming students in grades K-8!
